How to Install madfuload software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

madfuload software package provides Firmware loader for M-Audio DFU audio devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install madfuload

madfuload is installed in your system.

Make ensure the madfuload package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep madfuload *

You will get with madfuload package name, version, architecture and description in a table
